March Is Heartworm Awareness Month

With the weather starting to warm up, the mosquitoes will be back. It only takes one bit from an infected mosquito to start the process that leads to Heartworms. So make sure you talk to your Veterinarian about the preventative products available. Because prevention only cost a few dollars a month, but the cure can cost hundreds of dollars, and doesn't always work. Even if it works your dog will never be the same.
